Referral Context

Referral may be appropriate for patients with:

  • Persistent symptoms despite treatment

  • Diagnostic uncertainty or evolving presentation

  • Medication-related side effects, complications, or dependence

  • Complex psychiatric and medical comorbidity

  • Request for independent psychiatric consultation

This service is intended for outpatient, non-emergent evaluation.
